Artistic Journey
I started drawing when I was about 15 years old. My love for art had been growing for years
before that, but I think that was the point when I truly began to take an interest and put
effort into growing as an artist. I used to steal pens from my friend to make silly drawings in
his notebook while we were outside of class.
From there, I made the jump to digital art using IbisPaint on my mom’s phone. A couple of years
passed before I got my first phone and could draw without a ticking clock behind me. A few more
years went by until I built my own PC with money I saved by selling some things. Then, sometime
around 2024, I was able to buy my first and actual pen tablet ( ̄︶ ̄), and since
then I haven’t stopped drawing almost everyday, always trying to improve and surpass myself each
month.
Development Journey
I started programming relatively recently, around 2024. For now, I don’t have any remarkable
milestones regarding my skills, but I’ve quickly been learning HTML, CSS, and a bit of
JavaScript. My next closest goal is to learn C# and another, slightly more complex language to
complement it. I’d like to develop apps for Windows or some mods/add-ons for Minecraft at some
point, but first I’d need to learn C++/Java.
Neocities has been a great source of inspiration for my web creation process—it motivates me to
keep programming and to show this small community what I’m capable of. It makes me happy to see
how this page has gained more and more content compared to its very first launch during those
far-off Christmas days of 2024…
Other SNS…?
I’ve tried to get rid of almost all the SNS I used to have and simplify my life. I replaced
SoundCloud/Spotify with YouTube Music since it meets many of my audiophile needs. A long time
ago I had Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr, but I deleted those accounts quite a while back. There
wasn’t any real reason. I just lost interest in those things and wanted to focus on my own life.
I still have Reddit, and I usually use YouTube to watch videos from other artists and ASMR
creators, as well as to upload my own gameplay videos or any other interesting thing I feel is
worth sharing. But being a YouTuber isn’t my focus. Discord remains for chatting with some
online friends, and I also use it to receive commissions \( ̄︶ ̄*\)
I didn’t create this page to escape algorithms or privacy-related stuff, I just felt a bit bored
and wanted to apply my basic programming knowledge
